Your Main Goal should Be To Create Value

Expectedly, most of your competitors are out primarily to make money and you are probably are at this moment. After all there several bills to be paid and family to take care of. Fine. But could you please suspend that interest now and figure out how to really create value for your customers? If you do and place the interest of the customers above yours and primarily create value for them then you, you will be right on your way to outsmart your competitors and make money. Remember, people pay only for what they value.
You cannot effectively focus on two things at the same time, hence you must concentrate on rendering valuable services to the customer and the beauty of this approach is that you will be having customers that are guaranteed to patronize you for life. This is why it is a lot easier to keep existing customers than finding new ones. And you can only keep existing customers when you render selfless and quality services.

Know The Exact Needs Of Your Customers
How can you possible render quality and selfless services or product to customers when you do not what exactly their needs are? It is your responsibility to find out what these needs are and strive to deliver them beyond their expectations, far beyond what your competitors could possibly offer.
What if you don’t know? Then ask them! It is as simple as that. Set up an effective feed back system or ask them on one to one of several ways you could improve your services to them and you will be amazed by responses.

Handle Their Complaints Promptly
Feed back could come in form of complaints and you must ensure you attend to this promptly and leave the customers fully satisfied. Most of your competitors are probably finding this difficult to do, because it means sometimes going out of your usual way to just satisfy the customer. But always remember that once satisfied customer is a lifetime customer and would probably bring new customers to you who might not have patronized you in the first place.

How To Outsmart Your Competitors!

Business, especially online, is becoming more competitive by the day and everybody seams to be adopting same or similar strategy with little or no different result.
Nonetheless, the tips below could be the turning key you need to outsmart your competitors and get better results than they without them being able to copy you because they can’t exactly be like you!

Know Your Product or Service Well Enough
How can you engage in service or launch product you have little or no knowledge? It will amaze you to know that this is the case with most people, they only know so and so product service is creating waves in the market and with little or no knowledge they venture into it.
If you want to outsmart your competitors then you must have adequate knowledge and information about your product or service well above the average person in your field. Not only this, you must be committed to a continuous research and learning on how to improve your service or product well ahead of your competitors. This will availed you valuable information on how to meet the needs of the customers better than your competitors. If done properly you will always discover one fact that would shoot you above your competitors.

Work From Your Strength
Adequate knowledge of your product or service will reveal and brush up your competitive advantage. This is the strength you have above your competitor and is what you must work from. This coupled with you personal capability and ability in respect of your field would give you the edge above your competitors.
Let’s assume you are into the business of reviewing business papers and journals for busy business executives. And because of your mastery of English language and grammar, and probably your level of assimilation, you could provide the report in lesser pages without sacrificing facts and quality better than any of your competitors. May you have a unique way of providing this report in audio format so that the customer could listen to it any time while still doing something else. Then this is your strength that you must take advantage of over your competitors to outsmart them.

Be Creative And Trust Your Intuition
“If you do what others are doing, you will get results others are getting”

To outsmart your competitors, you must dig into your subconscious for uncommon and undiluted ideas; take all advice in good faith but run it side by side with what your inner voice is telling you about the issue/situation. If there is discrepancy then follow your intuition because often time it would turn out to be the best idea.
Granted, your intuition could be wrong some times but that usually happens where you have not developed it to a level of accuracy. It thrives on constant use. Your subconscious has the potential to set you apart from the crowd and shows you better ways of getting things done.
Whenever you face a difficult issue/situation, first search your knowledge base for any related experience on the issue/situation and note any possible solutions you generate in the process. Similarly, pass the information about the issue/situation to your subconscious to generate various ideas on it. However, you must ensure that your past experience or judgement does not come in at this time. Thereafter, identify and arrange ideas generate in term of their priorities and when this is done, you now have different solutions to the issue/situation at hand, evaluate them and choose the best solution. If you actually take pains to follow this process, then you will have creatively solved the problem and outsmarted your competitions.
